The Imation Micro Hard Drive makes sharing and transferring files easy thanks to the Micro Hard Drive's USB 2.0 high speed interface as well as its ability to transfer files across PC, Mac and Linux platforms.
In addition, Imation offers users security options to help keep valuable files protected. Imation Security Manager file synchronisation and encryption software for Windows and Mac backs up multiple file versions behind the scenes and automatically synchronises the copies, allowing easy access to previous versions and preventing unauthorised access by tightly locking all files with 128-bit encryption. The 2GB Imation Micro Hard Drive will be available in late-July in
Australia and New Zealand at authorised Imation distributors. The recommended
retail price (RRP) is AUD $249.00 and NZ $265.00. A 4GB Imation Micro
Hard Drive will be available in quarter four.
